The Olympic Radio Control Association (ORCA) is a non-profit radio controlled model airplane club whose purpose is to promote all phases of radio controlled model airplane building and flying. Additional goals include promoting club participation in Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) programs and further involving youth in the hobby.
Our new field, The Dale Olson Memorial Field, is located in Silverdale, Washington. The club’s old flying site, for the past 15 years, was located just south of the historical town of Port Gamble. Pope Resources, owner of the “Uplands” area where our flying field was located, close the Uplands area mid-2017, for a landfill project in conjunction with the cleanup of the old Pope & Talbot mill site.
Membership is open to all persons interested in the sport/hobby of model aircraft flying.
